Dear Ocean Yoga Community,

We are so excited to be open again after being closed for more than a year.

Out of an abundance of caution and care for everyone, Ocean Yoga requires wearing a mask when entering the studio. Masks are required for all in-studio classes. Massage clients are required to wear a mask when lying face up on the table. We will keep you posted as our policies continue to evolve!

Our Cleaning Procedures

1. Air Circulation

  • We have a state-of-the-art heating and humidification system that uses ducts and fans to constantly circulate and distribute fresh air throughout our studio practice space and lobby.

  • We have also added air purifiers and filters to offer an even more robust air circulation.

2. Hospital grade disinfectant and more frequent cleaning

  • Our staff will regularly disinfect frequently touched surfaces in the yoga studio, massage rooms, lobby, and bathrooms using products proven to kill viruses like COVID-19. 

  • The studio floor will be cleaned between each class, and at the end of each day. Our new class schedule allows for more cleaning time between classes.

  • While we encourage you to bring your own yoga accessories to class, blocks, blankets and straps are available for your use. Borrowed accessories will be cleaned after each class.

Yoga

Class sizes will be limited. Please use the Ocean Yoga app or Ocean Yoga website to register instead of calling or emailing the studio.

  • If you are not feeling well, please do not come into the studio and notify us at staff@oceanyoga.com to let us know.

  • Masks are required for all in-studio classes

  • Classes will be limited to a certain number of people according to guidelines set by the state.

  • Please use hand sanitizer or wash your hands upon entering and exiting.

  • To support social distancing, we ask that you arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of class and head directly to your mat as you wait for class to begin.

  • Mingling after class has always been an Ocean Yoga tradition, and it is part of how we built such a lovely community feeling. For now, we ask you to move conversations into open air as soon as possible after classes. (Hopefully this request is only a short-term one, as we are looking forward to socializing more freely very soon!)

Massage

  • A CA COVID screening form must be filled out prior to each appointment. You will receive a link to this form in your booking confirmation email.

  • A new waiver form must be signed prior to service. We can email this to you, or you can find the waiver form on our Ocean Yoga app. 

  • Cancellation is 24 hours notice for massages. If you are unwell, please notify us and do not come for your appointment.

  • You are required to wear a mask when you are face up on the table. A mask is optional when lying face down.

  • Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before entering the studio. (Of course, we will have hand sanitizer everywhere you look - just like every business in town these days!)
