Introduction to Ashtanga
This beginning ashtanga yoga practice is a modification of the primary series. In this class you will be practicing the same sequence of postures every time, giving you the advantage to observe your progress much easier. Ashtanga is a very traditional and somewhat athletic vinyasa yoga practice, however, Penny has a very welcoming and approachable demeanor, making this a much more accessible practice to all levels of yogis. Some knowledge of yoga postures (asanas) is recommended, however, not required.

In this class you will synchronize your breath with a flowing series of movements that will improve your strength and flexibility, calm your mind, and leave you feeling invigorated. This class is best suited to students who are comfortable with their yoga practice
American Tribal Style® belly dance
Experience a dance of empowerment, camaraderie, and joy! American Tribal Style® belly dance is a classic-yet- modern American fusion of dances of the middle east, Spain, India, and North Africa; its powerful poses and sassy steps become a vocabulary that you can learn to “speak” with other dancers. No choreography is needed; this dance is designed to be done improvisationally in a fun, supportive, collaborative environment. With slow, slinky moves and fast, energetic steps, this dance offers cardiovascular workout, artistic grace, refinement of posture, core strength, and personal empowerment. Dancers in this class will have a solid warm-up, some drills, and an opportunity to realize the dance through improvising with fellow dancers. In this bi-monthly class, dancers with previous dance experience will learn and drill a featured set of steps while beginners will get a foundation of the dance. A set of support videos is available online to continue practice in between classes
Flow and Align
In this mixed level class, students will learn, explore, practice and play with the fundamentals of alignment in a more focused and controlled setting, so that when its time to flow, students understand anatomical cues to help keep them safe while deepening their own practice.
Flow and Restore
Find strength, length, calm and spaciousness in the body and mind. Starting class in a vinyasa style, we will cultivate warmth while linking breath with movement. We will build strength, maintain mobility, and deepen awareness. We will spend the second part of the class in supported restorative poses, restoring the nervous system, calming the mind and body. This well-rounded practice is a great gift for the body, mind and spirit.
Grounded Yang Flow
This is a heated vinyasa style class that builds on the foundation of your feet in relation to the Earth, your breath, and building internal heat to purify the physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies. You can expect alignment cues and slightly longer holds in postures. It is a moderately paced class and welcomes all levels.
A variety of traditional postures taught in accurate alignment and sequence. Emphasis is placed on strength, flexibility, balance, concentration, and breathing. This class is based on body, mind, breath and spiritual connection. Suitable for all levels of practice. Variations will be offered for beginners and for advancing students. Each class is fun and different, offering lots of variety.
Heated Bhakti Vinyasa
A strong vinyasa flow with a Bhakti vibe, this class focuses on deep rhythmic breathing combined with a challenging vinyasa practice in a heated studio with inspiring music. Though all are welcome, this class is geared towards those who are familiar and comfortable with their yoga practice.

Meditation by Donation
We begin with easy mindful movements to warm-up and prepare the body for sitting.The seated meditation practice will be about 30 minutes in length and may include guided Pranayama (breathing exercise), guided meditation, inquiry, and simply sitting in silence and presence.Whether you are new to the practice of meditation or a seasoned practitioner, this donation-based class offers practices that induce calm and clarity to the mind and open the heart. The practice of meditation is a tool to get to know ourselves, an opportunity for expanding into a greater intelligence and for seeing who we truly are and what is truly here, beyond our stories and our felt sense perceptions.Come and join us in a group of like-minded souls to build connection to and to enrich one's own experience of aliveness.Class is Donation based: You give from your heart whatever you can. Suggested donation is $10, and is given as a guide. Feel free to pay more if you can and less if you need to.

Mindful Flow with Yin
Accessible for all levels, this class blends Mindful Flow and restorative Yin yoga into a balanced practice.We start with a slower paced and invigorating flow sequence, moving from pose to pose by linking intentional breath with conscious movement, to develop core strength, muscle tone, balance and stamina.The last third of the class consists of passive floor based yin poses, held in a relaxed and mindful way for 3-7 minutes. This approach promotes increased circulation along the energetic pathways, enhances range of motion throughout the body, and replenishes the parasympathetic nervous system to nourish stillness.
This all-levels class contains elements of Pilates, Garuda, and Yoga. Pregnancy is a unique and special time in a woman’s life. The bodies of mother and child are growing and changing rapidly. Prenatal yoga is an excellent support tool for “mama to be” to feel their best mentally and physically. In this class we will practice safe postures that are helpful in relieving common discomforts of pregnancy, provide strength, endurance, and work with our breath. The combination of relaxation, endurance and breathing technique is essential to facilitate the birthing process.
Mommy & Me
This class is for expectant mothers and moms with infants to share the benefits of yoga, learn infant massage techniques, and bond with baby. The benefits of breath and yoga asana are numerous and offer a wonderful way to connect and bond with your baby in-utero and prepare for birth. Bringing baby with you to class to learn and receive self-care tools in the postpartum stage will continue to nourish you and baby through new challenges of motherhood. It provides an opportunity to connect with other moms and create a playgroup among the little yogis. Newborns to crawling age are welcome and women in all stages of pregnancy are welcome too.
This class is an invitation to slow down and restore your nervous system. Restorative poses and breathing exercises are sequenced to help release the body and mind of tension and stress. Through the use of props and long holds we will gently open the body, experience deep relaxation and nourish our energy. No experience necessary, all are welcome! Please bring something to cover your eyes, such as an eye pillow, if you would like.
Restorative Yoga + Nidra
This class will begin with 1 hour of relaxing, stress-relieving Restorative Yoga, followed by 30-minutes of guided meditation designed to help you achieve the state of deep relaxation known as Yoga Nidra. This gentle class is perfect for beginners, those returning after illness, injury, or stress, and anyone seeking deeper relaxation.
SharQui Bellydance is the perfect fusion of bellydance and fitness. This program is for any shape, size and skill level and there is no other bellydance program like it in the world. Whether you are a newbie or a seasoned dancer, you will pick up new moves for your repertoire and leave the class feeling like a dynamo!

Warm Vinyasa 101
This gently heated, alignment-focused vinyasa flow class is designed to help you build a safe vinyasa practice. This is not your average vinyasa class, you'll work and flow, yet learn how to access and understand poses through precise movement. Expect to tap into under-worked parts of your body, discover patterns of holding, and release tight muscles to create ease and balance in the body. All levels welcome!
Yin yoga is a quiet practice with deep stretches that are held for 3-5 minutes with transitional poses and energy release in between. Yin is a mindful practice centered around the theory that the yoga sequences affect bodily systems and organ health as well as the muscles and outer body. Yin combines still, deep stretching, with mindfulness in a practice that balances out a more dynamic yoga practice. Aromatherapy is utilized as a tool to elevate your experience. Suitable for all levels.
Yoga for Kids!
This kids yoga class is designed to introduce children ages 5 to 10 to the wonderful experience of yoga! We'll explore the principles of yoga such as breathing and simple poses (asanas) in a 45-minute class that is better suited to your child's attention span. Yoga will begin at 4pm. Please be prepared to pick up your child by 4:40pm.
