As a lifelong dancer, Samantha Corsiglia was introduced to yoga in 1997, and grew to appreciate its balancing ways; not only physically, but spiritually and emotionally. Being exposed to Kripalu yoga, inspired by Rodney Yee, and venturing through various types of yoga over the years, she realized how valuable yoga had become - how it was the ‘glue’ that kept her together, as a mama, as a practitioner, as a human… that moment of mindfulness, noticing the breath, bringing calm to the mind, the spirit and being present.
In continuing to dedicate herself to the service of Women, Children and Families, in her Women’s Integrative Health Practice - Samantha went on to Yoga Tree’s Lighting the Path Yoga Teacher Training with Pete Guinosso, (Anna Forrest Inspired Vinyasa Flow), and continued to study Prenatal/Postpartum Yoga Teacher Training with Jane Austen.
Samantha is honored to guide the Mamas of the Coast through the dance of Pregnancy and Postpartum health through yogic movement and beyond.

Samantha has worked in the alternative health field since 1991. Prenatal/Mom & Baby: This class is for expectant mothers and moms with infants to share the benefits of yoga, learn infant massage techniques, and bond with baby.  The benefits of breath and yoga asana are numerous and offer a wonderful way to connect and bond with your baby in-utero and prepare for birth. Bringing baby with you to class to learn and receive self-care tools in the postpartum stage will continue to nourish you and baby through new challenges of motherhood.  It provides an opportunity to connect with other moms and create a playgroup among the little yogis. Newborns to crawling age are welcome and women in all stages of pregnancy are welcome too. 

Prenatal Yoga: Pregnancy is a unique and special time in a woman’s life. The bodies of mother and child are growing and changing rapidly. Prenatal yoga is an excellent support tool for “mama to be” to feel their best mentally and physically. In this class we will practice safe postures that are helpful in relieving common discomforts of pregnancy, provide strength, endurance, and work with our breath. The combination of relaxation, endurance and breathing technique is essential to facilitate the birthing process.
