Erin King

I am grateful to be part of the Ocean Yoga team. My movement journey began as a young child practicing with “Lilias, Yoga and You” at my grandparents’ house in San Francisco. I later pursued my dream of dancing professionally in New York City where I discovered Pilates. Certified in 1990 as a teacher and 1994 as a teacher trainer, I worked many years in New York, some in India and currently here in the Bay Area. Having loved being a Yoga student throughout my life, I decided to deepen my practice with a 200 hour training course in 2010, the same year my first child was born. Yoga and Pilates then became part time jobs while parenting took over. Moving back home to Pacifica, I was blessed to teach Yoga for my children’s kindergarten classes at Sunset Ridge. When I’m not at Ocean Yoga you can find me teaching Pilates at Beacon Physical Therapy in San Francisco, swimming at Oceana Pool, hiking trails along the coast, playing pickleball or spending time with my wonderful family.
