After working in the corporate world of hospitality, travel and entertainment for most of his adult life, a reality came over David that while he was living a wonderful and exciting life, he was doing little to touch, support and be of service to others. A calling he always "felt", but didn't fully understand how to share until he found yoga (David actually believes that yoga found him)! Of course, this awareness changed his own journey as well. Having been an endurance athlete and taking part in triathlons, marathons and endurance races, David is very aware of how ones body acts and reacts as well as the potential for injures as it relates to sports. His classes focus on the wellness of the muscles, injury care and prevention and syncing up the breath, heart and mind to allow for stillness.
With awareness comes change and soon David made the shift from "Wall Street to Wellness", receiving his 200 hour Hatha Yoga Certification in 2006. Suitable for all levels with options, variations, and modifications given to allow you to choose to soften or intensify poses to suit your needs and abilities.
A variety of traditional postures taught in accurate alignment and sequence. Emphasis is placed on strength, flexibility, balance, concentration, and breathing. This class is based on body, mind, breath and spiritual connection. Suitable for all levels of practice. Variations will be offered for beginners and for advancing students.
Each class is fun and different, offering lots of variety.
