Though his classes can be challenging, students of all levels are welcome and will find a friendly and supportive space to discover and test the edge of their comfort zones. They will be invited to use their breathing and calm their mind, listen to their intuition, and discover how powerful and beautiful they already are. Alex’s classes are physical, fun, uplifting, and always lighthearted.
Since then, I’ve studied with numerous wonderful teachers in a variety of yogic disciplines, and I enjoy sharing their wisdom with my students. My classes incorporate elements of Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Qigong into a flowing vinyasa practice that provides options to engage everyone from the new yogi to the advanced practitioner. I’ve taught yoga on both coasts and recently returned to California after ten great years in New England.
As a massage therapist, I also use a multidisciplinary style with a focus full-body function. I’m trained in Swedish, sports massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular, and trigger point release. My massages incorporate the elements and styles that suit the client’s specific needs and requests.
