Chandra Lovejoy

Chandra aims to create a safe space for students to make a connection with Self. Classes are rooted in meditation and breath control. Postures are taught with an emphasis on safe alignment via clear and balanced joint space through consciously organized pathways of weight. Students are encouraged to root their practice in breath to create steadiness and ease in every pose, rather than "win" the pose. Chandra teaches without judgments and students are supported to explore their personal edge mindfully through a practice of presence and Self-inquiry to promote transformation. Shreejana Pradhan

Originally from Nepal and based in San Francisco, yoga, meditation, and a love for the ocean came to Shree at a young age. Shree draws from her experience as a down-to-earth, lighthearted yogi from the Himalayas. A diver/surfer and lifelong travel & outdoor enthusiast, she cultivates and incorporates varying styles of intentional movement from her experience into her teaching style and practice. As a believer in the power of the practice to heal and radically transform lives, she is dedicated to helping others find that balance - in yoga at home, the office, as a way of life.

With a personable and grounded approach, she teaches a moderate and mindfully paced Bhakti Vinyasa Flow class. You will find a cultivation of safe asana or posturing, fluid / intentional movement, thoughtful sequencing and creative flow. You will also discover quickly when practicing with Shreejana that yoga is more of a fluid moving meditation that has little to do with how flexible you are and everything to do with unleashing the mind and opening the heart. www.shreejanayoga.com

 
With a personable and grounded approach, Shree will guide you through a rejuvenating, easeful, and mindfully paced Hatha Flow-Yin hybrid class. You will find a cultivation of safe asana or posturing, fluid/intentional movement, thoughtful sequencing and mellow flow. Focus will be placed on releasing tension through nourishing openings around muscles, joints and ligaments, and ending in deeply restorative postures to reset the body, bring clarity to the mind and nourish the soul.
